Since 2014 Vancouver Art Gallery has been developing its Institute of Asian Art, a platform for profiling and enhancing the understanding of modern and contemporary Asian art. The Foundation is supporting a research collaboration with Chinese Canadian artist Karen Tam which will look at early 20th Century Chinese cultural practitioners who travelled to North America.

Support for a community-based process to plan and design a public art masterplan to interpret the significant stories of the historic sites of the Eng Family Homestead (one of the last remaining and most intact single-family homes in the Chinatown-International District in Seattle) and adjacent Canton Alley.
