European Lawyers in Lesvos

European Lawyers in Lesvos (ELIL) provides free, independent legal assistance to refugees in Greece. Their teams of Greek and European asylum lawyers work together to provide expert legal assistance to refugees on the Greek islands of Lesvos and Samos, and in Athens. Beginning with initial grant support in 2020 and followed by renewal support in 2023 which also includes support for child migrants in Poland, this grant enables ELIL to expand their provision of services for refugee children and families.
