The University’s Loka Initiative has received a Foundation grant for two youth-focused projects related to environmental education: 1) development of a curriculum for college students that includes skill-building for developing inner resilience and coping with eco-anxiety, climate despair, and solastalgia; and 2) a gathering of indigenous elders and youth, and a film about that gathering, which centers on the intergenerational transfer of indigenous ecological and sacred knowledge from around the world.
