The Climate Mental Health Network and the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) are committed to providing educators with resources to help students process their emotions and personal experiences while learning about climate change in age-appropriate ways. The Climate Mental Health Network focuses on the mental health impacts of climate change through education, community engagement, and media and technology. NEEF, with its history of funding and implementing place-based K-12 STEM programs nationwide, develops content for traditional and non-traditional educators. This grant will support the creation of middle school interventions to address the climate-related mental health challenges faced by youth.
