Location

Canada, US

CIRCLE at Stanford Psychiatry is a research and action initiative devoted to the advancement of Community-minded Interventions for Resilience, Climate Leadership, and Emotional well-being. CIRCLE addresses the mental health impacts of climate change in inclusive ways that support groups and communities, with a specialization in climate distress and the co-design and evaluation of interventions with impacted communities. With support from the Foundation, CIRCLE seeks to create one of the first evidence-based interventions for young people experiencing functional impairment from climate distress, and to put the tools of agency, effective climate leadership, and culturally relevant approaches for coping with distress into the hands of youth.
