2020 - 2024
With initial support from the Foundation in 2020, followed by renewal support in 2022, Winrock International, a leader in U.S. and international development, is working to transform its organization through individual and group activities, leadership and staff training, and coaching. The goal is to develop new habits in mindfulness, communication, decision-making, and action to optimize how Winrock accomplishes its mission in the world. Winrock will develop the practice of meditation and build the skills of mindful self-awareness and communication in alignment with current strategic goals, priorities, and ongoing internal initiatives. The aim is to transform its organizational effectiveness in tangible, measurable ways. A key focus is developing increased awareness of implicit bias and cultivating an internal environment in which global staff feel included and that their voices are heard.
