Beginning with an initial grant in 2020 and followed by renewal support in 2022, Fauna and Flora International (FFI) is utilizing Foundation support to systematically introduce mindfulness practices throughout its organization, which includes 400 staff working in 35 countries. FFI is also bringing such practices into the field via the organization’s role in Cambridge University’s Conservation Leadership Programme, comprising over 3,500 participants and alumni from 100+ countries around the world. Internally, FFI will develop mindfulness and compassion training programs to support its mission to conserve threatened species and ecosystems worldwide.
