The Italian Council for Refugees (CIR) is a non-profit humanitarian organization founded in 1990 with UN support. Operating across several regions in Italy, CIR provides legal, social and psychological assistance to refugees and asylum seekers through a qualified team of legal experts, social workers, cultural mediators and psychologists. Through a combination of direct legal service delivery, capacity-building and training of immigration actors, the Foundation supports CIR’s activities to secure durable solutions for unaccompanied and separated children on the move in Italy who need legal assistance.
