Sally Lai, Consulting Program Officer, has been working on behalf of the RHNHFF Global since the summer of 2021. Her particular focus has been on developing the new Arts and Chinese Heritage Initiative which supports the arts to tell the history of early Chinese immigrants and the Chinese diaspora. Sally has a background in contemporary art curation and arts management and has worked in the cultural sector for over 20 years. Underpinning her work is her commitment to international collaboration, the experience of the diaspora, inclusivity and sustainability. She was previously Chief Executive of the Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art (UK) and has worked for the Arts Council of England, Manchester International Festival, the Culture Team of London 2012 and The Wellcome Collection. Sally has served on the board of Attenborough Arts Centre, University of Leicester, Atlantic Project, the Centre for Contemporary Art and the Natural World, Black Artists and Modernism.
