Carmen Morcos, Consulting Program Officer, joined the RHNHFF Global in 2023 to work on the foundation’s grantmaking initiative – Contemplation, Insight, and Impact (C2i) – which supports social and environmental change organizations to integrate mindfulness, contemplation, wellbeing, and resilience into their work in order to achieve transformative social and environmental change. Carmen’s diverse career spans 20 years in the business, nonprofit, and entrepreneurship fields working around the globe in English and Spanish. She brings significant experience in program design and implementation, learning and evaluation, capacity building, and holistic wellbeing. She is also a trained facilitator, coach, yoga instructor, and meditation teacher. Carmen began her career in finance, then worked for various foundations focused on youth development before leaving to lead her own social impact consultancy, Impact Visionary. Prior roles include working for EMpower, where she served as Senior Program Officer for Latin America, and the Nike Foundation, where she managed the economic empowerment portfolio. She has also consulted for various foundations and initiatives such as the Ford Foundation, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, LeadersTrust, Resilience Initiative, and Comic Relief on grantmaking, impact evaluations, wellbeing, organizational strengthening, and youth engagement.
