American Council of Learned Societies

The Foundation, in collaboration with the American Council of Learned Societies, has made grants available to scholars and institutions worldwide since 2013. The grants advance the study and application of Buddhist philosophy in contemporary scholarship and society, enhance its global impact, strengthen the international network of Buddhist studies, and increase understanding and appreciation of innovative directions in such studies.
