This unprecedented retrospective of the work of Cai Guo-Qiang, one of the world’s most celebrated contemporary artists, presented a chronological and thematic survey of the artist’s creation of a distinctive and conceptual language. The exhibition also showed how Cai shares the Foundation’s vision of providing creative opportunities and a belief in the important role that art can play in highlighting and commenting on social issues.
