The Understanding Buddhism Through Art education program sought to foster better understanding of cultural and religious diversity by providing primary and secondary students in Zurich with direct and meaningful engagement with Buddhist art, through which they learned Buddhist teachings and ethics. The three-year program, designed to complement the school syllabus, included museum workshops, development of tools for learning in the gallery, classroom and online materials, as well as professional training for school teachers.
