The Foundation funded the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)’s publication of the first systematic introduction to contemporary Chinese art in a Western language. The groundbreaking sourcebook, Contemporary Chinese Art: Primary Documents, assembles primary texts in English translation, from manifestos of avant-garde groups and writings by artists to important critical and analytical essays.
