Asian Art Museum, San Francisco

This exhibition featured more than 240 artifacts from three of the most renowned museums in China—the Palace Museum, Nanjing Municipal Museum, and Shanghai Museum. The goal of presenting these imperial objects, created for the Forbidden City during the 14th to mid-17th centuries, was to deepen the audience’s understanding of Chinese culture and heritage.
