Animals Asia

Animals Asia strives to end the bear bile trade, which includes over 10,000 bears kept on bile farms across Asia. A Foundation grant supports two aspects of the organization’s work in Vietnam: (1) maintaining strategic relationships with stakeholders involved in wildlife protection and animal welfare related to conservation of wild bears and rescue of captive bears; and (2) building the next generation of local veterinarians and trained wild animal care givers.
